Where Does Our Money Come From?
We practice faith and prayer with regard to our financial needs. Our financial support each month comes from our team, individuals who believe in our community and its values, some churches, and a few businesses. We welcome people to share in this part of our life together. We do not receive any government funding.
Our Current Reality:
Throughout the past year we have seen a dramatic decrease in what we would call “trickle in” money. These are resources we diligently pray for that provide our daily bread. Committed giving currently makes up only 24% of our monthly budget, and the “trickle in” has not been enough to sustain our current needs. Our hope is that this year we will see an increase in committed giving to 50%, while still praying for the other 50% in “trickle in” to make up the difference. To this end we are asking God to give us:
- 40 individuals or families who will contribute $50 per month
- 6 businesses who will contribute $200 per month
- 6 church communities who will contribute $200 per month
